Here's the deal, I'm shopping for a car for my buddy's vintage car collection. Looking for someone to go check it out, take it for a ride, see how it runs and check the quality of the paint job.

It's a '67 Firebird....

Not sure what City but is in Kitsap County. That west of Seattle, right?  I plan to call him tonight and will get details and see if this weekend will work for him.

The car has a 400 motor [good!] but I'm concerned it may be a crap paint job that the pics dont show.  Needs interior but not concerned with that.

Just spoke to the seller.  The car is in Bremerton.

If you are talking to me Steve....my friend said he could do it. He got jazzed when I told him what it was. He lives about 50 miles from Bremerton. His bird was even that same color but it was a hardtop. If you're interested I could pm you his phone #.

That would be great, thanks Fred.     BTW - I've had two of the 1st Gen 'birds, a '68 convert and a coupe.   Both were good cars.

Hey GV...the Firebird was put on the back burner as I found a '65 Stringray for sale...





Had the Vette inspected on Monday, it failed miserably, multiple issues that we could not get beyond. The seller didnt lie, he just didnt say anything about them!  [buyer beware].  So what looked like a good buy on a '65 turn out to be a bust.

I'm going to call the seller of the Firebird tonight and see if still available?  Thanks
