Cr29 carbs questions

So I had got a set of CR29 a long time back I'm starting the project again and I set the spacing correct but I'm having an issue with getting each of the slides to be uniform on opening and closing. I'm using a 1mm straight rod as a gauge to check and for some reason I cannot get the #4 carb to line up with the other 3. Anything helps thank you

Can't say for sure but if they are like stock carbs you line the "other" 3 up to that one.
