I think that the 77 and 78 models using the same side color as the primary color caused a little different black when the primary was black compaired to the 75 and 76 models. And the side covers I have are a very dark grey, or light black with a little metal flake. My original side covers were not included on my Antares Red primary. So the 78 side covers I bought for my 78 were painted black and have the metal flake.
