Front and Rear wheel bearings
« on: January 04, 2007, 07:59:04 AM »
Hi all,

Another question I have is who makes front and rear wheel bearings for a '70 K0?  I read on this forum that All Balls makes the tapered steering bearings, but didn't know if they also make the front and rear wheel bearings?  If they don't, who does?

Thanks!  :)

If you have a bearing supply shop nearby, take your old ones in with you (or at least the part numbers) and they will match them for you.  I did this last winter for the bigger drive-side rear wheel bearing and was surprised the replacement was made by the same company, had same part number and looked identical to the 28 year old one - except the new one had seals on both sides. It cost less than $14.cdn including 13% tax. New bearings are a good deal.
