Gentleman's Express
« on: June 17, 2022, 10:31:16 AM »
Forum: I have a 78 550 that I have been wanting to finish.
I have DID rims and big rubber.
The forks are from an early 900.
The original 550 front wheel is more narrow than the forks.
I need a custom bracket for the twin calipers.
Most of the rest of the bike is there, I just need to finish the bike.

I'm too old and arthritic to finish this.
Other than MULE customs, too expensive.
Do you know anyone that can get it up and running.

I live in Stockton, CA.
Not willing to go far for rebuild.

TIA

Ricisan

I can understand you position.  I'm sorry I don't know more builders in that are of California to be able to provide a helpful referral.
