You the MAN! Thank you. I've been dreading the trial and error of jetting my chopper project, and a record of stock specs will save a bunch of time-n-trouble undoing the bizzarro stuff we all credcit the notorious PO for. Cheers!

78 750K - Emgo Pods - 120 mains - everything else is factory stock settings/parts/exhaust... except for a "parts unknown" ignition system replacing the points &  condensors.

Almost fergot: Central Iowa :'(

Stock exhausts too?

No extra air out =no extra air in.  That is why that works

I've had an idea floating around my head for a while.
We have specs for the stock airbox, motor, and exhaust. What we don't have is consolidated information about jetting that works with alternatives. More specifically setting that work well, no hesitation, surging or bogging.
I would like people to post their specs so I can put them in a spreadsheet.
I will need to know Bike, cam, ignition, ported head, exhaust, filter, main jet, slow jet, air screw, needle, and location so altitude can be added in.

Thanks
Dave

I have been collecting data for more than a year from 3 websites and the main problem is that many owners do not report back about results. If they are successful or if changes were not working.

Sounds like an interesting idea.  Wish I could give you mine, but my Frankenbike isn't quite tuned yet.

I can offer this though, I'm a statistician and exceedingly good with excel macros.  If you send me your raw data after you finish up I can work up something user friendly where from a menu you could input your setup and then have it load recommendations based on your input.  Might even be able to model some of the stuff in the middle or make predictions for setups that aren't explicitly in the data set.
Frankenbike CB750:
71 K1 Frame
72 K2 Engine
75 F0 Carbs:
     #40 slow jets
     #105 Main Jets
     Stock needle and settings.
My-neighbors-love-me-Kerker 4 into 1
Stock airbox

The best way to make a small fortune on the stock market is to start out with a large fortune.  Trust me, I'm an actuary.
