Progressive MC show Chicago
« on: February 12, 2018, 11:38:39 AM »
A few photos of custom bikes from the Chicago Progressive MC show. Most were typical Harleys with giant front wheels and no exhaust, but a few were cool.

I like the Can Am best! That's a cool bike, and the Bombardier engine was very fast. Thanks for sharing, Danny!

+1 on the Can Am
The others are just art, quite nice art.  But not motorcycles.

The can am head a headlight and taillight and was plated, so it's a streetable bike.

Was at Mid-Ohio last July, and ran the RD350 in the Formula 500 race, and they had some GP bikes in there too, one of them was a Can Am 250 ridden by Neil Pooler. It was a great time as he passed me in a corner, then I would pass him in the straight, at the last lap, he was inside me at the last left hand turn coming into the front straight, and I pulled up next to him on his right just as we passed the finish line.. he looked over, quite surprised, as I held up a fist-bump to him lol...he came by later, and we talked, he said that the Rd350 was faster, and he tried several times to pass coming out of a turn, but the RD just walked away from him. Now, I hope to have the YZ80 reed cages installed and some porting done to it by next July's Vintage bike days... and we'll have a go at it again!
