Craig Vetter Update
« on: February 22, 2018, 06:21:46 PM »
I messaged Craig Vetter through LinkedIn about a week ago, and got a response that, "It has been a long road to recovery, but he expects to be back in the saddle come fall".

Said he should be well enough to attend the next hypermile rally they are doing.  Craig Vetter has done some amazing stuff with high efficiency areo mods getting over insane mpg and just been an amazing inspiration to me so I am happy to hear he is on the mend.

Thought you guys would like to know, if you didn't know already.

No doubt, Craig Vetter is a member of my own "Motorcycle Hall of Fame". He had his days, however, most of the stuff he is making now is, ...uh.... I don't know. Would be better if he "rest on his laurels"

Innovative.  I believe the word you're looking for is innovative.

That's really good news, he's done so much for so many riders over the years. I remember reading about his crash and the updates his wife had written, but that all seemed to be such a long time ago.
Good news.

You need to learn the difference between something bad and something you don't like.

People don't like the look of a "boat tail" on any vehicle, but you can't argue against the boost to MPG.  When self driving kicks in you will see vehicles patterned after Craig Vetters designs.  Since no one is driving them it won't matter how they look.

It just makes sense especially when you can increase MPG by upto 50% or more.  It is really amazing.

Funny! I never said it was bad. If anything, I probably hinted that I did not like it. You have a problem with that?
