If the clearance is good yeah great deal.,
A few busted fins won't slow it down,  I run worse.

Sure enough, POP.Y(Pops Yoshimura) is cast into the piston blanks.

What's going to be my best course of action in sourcing piston rings for these when they arrive? I'm aware of checking the jug bore wear at front to back and side to side at top, middle and bottom. But not so clear on what rings will be required.

I can't say about those but for the 750 Yoshi 64mm 812 kit I use CB350 Twin rings so I'd speculate there may be a similar solution.

My Yoshi catalogue parts list has a 590cc piston kit under it's CB500 listings. "piston 61mm, 590cc" and "piston rings 61mm" - SURPRISE - could they be stock Honda 750 rings?! 1.5mm, 1.5mm, 2.5mm

The actual 500/550 pages are stuck together so I can't get more info.

Cheers for the reply yep they measure out at 61mm so they could be 500 pistons. Is the 1.5mm 1.5mm 2.5mm the width of the ring lands on the piston.

thickness of the rings he is talking about,if they are 61mm,stock 750 rings should fit,the displacement would then be 590.bill
