Rest In Peace, Billy Graham - 1918-2018
« on: February 21, 2018, 05:56:58 AM »
Well, the day has come, and he is standing in the Son... rest in peace, Billy Graham. He didn't quite make his 100th birthday.
When Billy was in seminary school, he had a time when he questioned his faith in God.. he wrote his mother and told her, when he prayed, he just didn't feel the 'presence' of God, and thought that there was something wrong with him.
His mom wrote him back and said... "son, we walk by faith, not by sight, nor by feelings... so, by Faith, hold up your hand and feel the Presence of God." He went on to become the greatest (in my opinion) spokesperson for the Kingdom of God. He never took more than was needed for him and his family, and he still lived in the home he built back in the 50's. He is a very humble, and faithful servant... and I am sure that there is a crown laid up for him, that will be amazing to see. I will bet that he lays that crown at the feet of Jesus Christ, Who is his Lord and Savior. He is not dead, only his body is.
Feelings change, God never has, and never will. God Bless you, Billy Graham, for not relying on your 'feelings'...

"Someday you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I am now. I will just have changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God." Billy Graham

A most fitting quote for this day.
