Al, how far is it from Longmont to Wendover, Utah?
How about you, Matt? Would you be willing to go that far East?
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

Not too far but spending four days on the 80 isn't exactly my idea of fun. I'm not saying no, though. I'm sure checking out the salt flat racing is somethong I oughta do at least once.
So much to do, so little time.

Ichi Al, funny you mention 1000 miles! If we do a SOHCtoberFest 2018 in the W. KY. LBL (Land Between the Lakes   Paducah area) it's EXACTLY 1000 miles for me  ;) I'm thinking of hauling one of the 750's behind my Subie and staying with a friend there. Plenty of motels too. Let the kids camp, we've paid our dues. I'll haul you too but I'll probably stay the month. You could always ride back  ::)

Have you seen the cherry 550K one of our members is selling for ~$2800? Under 10K miles too. You need another one buddy!
Did you even read the thread , Mr. Tired ?

Hi Jerry..Folks.  I've been following this..but haven't replied because seems like the venues being discussed are all a lot further than I feel comfortable riding anymore. The LBL park looks great Jerry.  Think it should be a fun place to get together this year.

I'm just now thinking of de-winterizing my 550 and doing a little local riding BTW.  The wife has been encouraging to do that..bless her heart.  You're still down in Colo. Springs Jerry..right?  We still haven't gotten together more locally to do a BBQ.  I found some markets that carry traditional pork Butts Jerry LOL  Frank: I'd love to meet you in-person sometime..as with many other of our SOHC brothers and sisters.

That's all for now..Sayonara..

Yeah Al, still in and out of the Springs. I need to put time in on my 750's but I also now have a BMW K1200GT to cruise around on. Heading out for 6+ weeks again. Not too tied down these days. Planning a June ride with friends to Yellowstone if you're interested.

I found it funny that you had mentioned that 1000 miles LOL. You can always come to Bonneville too.
