just stoking up this old thread,we got this hedge that is magnificent,but its getting bit much for me now,its like 9 ft high!Im still on holidays until next week so thought lets lower it,using that #$%*ty little GMC chainsaw,I got it done,not easy but the saw ran like a champ,no way id be able to hold any of my others above head for more than a few minutes let alone coupla hours getting this sasquatch size hedge lowered,cheap crap saws can be fine if they do what you need em to do,I had to fettle those carby tune screws coupla times along the way and thats what lets these cheapo saws down,the average home owner cant sense its need or do that and some need special shaped tools,also the spark plug they come with is a piece of crap!put an ngk one in and the hard starting troubles will go away!ngk on right,no name on left,in same machine after a hot run,the no name doesent burn off soot and oil like the ngk does!
