Oh man, I can't believe all this time has passed since my last post. Well grants, the project isn't dead but took a different turn. My original chassis was compromised so I had to use a spare chassis for the project. This frame was originally set up for a Kawasaki engine so I had the fabricator convert it to a GS engine platform. Due to the wider rear section of the bike, I had to buy a wider rear wheel and decided to get it beadlocked so the tire wouldn't slip on the rim at launch. The original fiberglass body I had on the other chassis was to narrow and not long enough so I had to have Beasley fiberglass build another body to fit this chassis. A good deal of work has been completed thus far but there's more to be done before it's ready for pickup. Right now we're looking at two more weeks and then I'll drive down to Florida to pick up the rolling chassis. I'll have a lot of Details to work out once I get it in my shop so I'm thinking it'll be the 1st quarter of 2023 before I get it finished and ready to make pass down the dragstrip. Fuel injection is still my preference for this bike so I've got to purchase all the needed components to complete the system. Ahhh, the joys of building a bike!!
