Well gents, I haven't posted on this project for a bit. It's not because I haven't been making any progress. I took pictures but am unable to post here due to size althoughI'veattempted several times . I haven't taken the initiative to resize them. I suppose I should so I can at least give a few visual updates. Nevertheless, I'm in the early stages of mocking up either actual or hopeful placement of various components including the ECU, coils, fuel pump, relays and nitrous oxide solenoids. I think I have a mount figured out for the Dash. I'm using an 8" Lenovo tablet with the Maxxecu MDash installed behind the on a plate behind the front fairing. I'll have room on either side of the table to put a digital nitrous pressure Guage and maybe a toggle switch. I had to have a forward handlebar plate made via CNC to move the bars a tad bit to the front. My arms weren't outstretched enough when mounted directly on top of the triple. It's feels better now but the bars currently obstruct the dash display a little. Not enough to cause issues thankfully. Unfortunately for me, I now don't have room to install a delay box up front. I'll either ditch that feature or cut a hole on the side panels and place it there. Where there's a desire, there is a way. I need to have some mounting tabs added in order to bolt a plate to mount my ECU and the relays etc.. under the seat area. It really needs to be tig welded so I've got to work that out because I don't own a tig and am absent the skills yo operate one efficiently. The wife works at a local high school career center so I may see if the instructor would help me out on a weekend or after school hours. I've been chomping at the bit to buy a nice quality tig machine for years but it's hard to justify the cost for the few jobs it would be used in my shop. On the other hand, a multi purpose welder with Mig, Flux, stick and Tig is way more practical but cost prohibitive for a hobbyist like me.
Standby guys, I'm going to work out this picture thing even if I have to bleed trying. Lol
