CB750K Ignition switch
« on: February 28, 2018, 01:10:02 PM »
The earlier ignition switch had a round 6 pin plug. The later ones had a rectangular 4 pin plug.

Apart from the plug differences are the switches the same or are there six wires on the early round plug and only four on the later rectangular plug? Is it possible to just simply swap over the lead or is the whole ignition switch difference?

Thanks

Andy

There are only 4 wires on early round ignition switch connector. You may be mislead by the look of the switch, two slots are unused.

Thanks. Sound like it is only the end plug that has been changed.

Yep, only difference is the plug. Not sure, but the later one might have a better contact.
