You will find some disagreement on this. I am running a bone stock 78K. I have 120 mains and I have no carbon problem and no flat spot through the whole RPM range. They leaned them out for the EPA.  With a modded airbox and exhaust you will need the 120's.

Get slow jets too. 40s. Stock is 115 so you could probably go to a 125. You can also adjust the needles. Make sure you get keihin parts and not knockoffs.

would you say its safe to go with this stock complete 115 kit and then buy the 125 jets separately?
i saw a nice complete set at vintagecb750 and have a good exp ordering there...$25.95 USD

Nice kit and you get new floats and formed float bowl gaskets. You can swap out the jets of course. These are all discreet parts.

What kind of shape are the carbs in? Use the stock needles as long as they are not corroded. The aftermarket ones are more lean than stock. The kit looks good. I would just purchase Keihin jets.
