Small block 440 or 383?
I think you mean "Small Block 340". The Base Motor for a GTX, was the 440, which is the "Raised Deck" version of the Big Block. In 1969, the only option was the 426 HEMI and THOSE things go for HUGE BUCKS.
Terry called it right, "Super Commando", which is the 440. It also is a base model (No A/C, No Power anything, except under the hood). It is also a 4spd car with Sure Grip (Positraction, for those who might not know). It was supposed to have the Dana 60 differential, but someone swapped out the Dana for an 8 3/4 differential & left off the emergency brake. Go figure!
