Spring has Sprung!   Spent two [half] days cleaning, cleaning, cleaning and then polishing the Monterrey boat after it's months long hibernation over the winter.  Great news is it started right up no issue and the stereo still rocks!  I'll never want a "colored" hull again, for some reason they tend to oxidize much more that white. Lake Travis water is very "hard", that may have something to do with it?
Annual polishing gets it looking good again...

Looking good Steve!

Spent half a day a working on a neighbour’s filthy little Ferguson 35 gas tractor. Must be a late 50’s or early 60’s. No pictures, it’s worse than what you can imagine. Mysteriously started running rough after 15-20 seconds and then died. First I repaired several fuel leaks that threatened to turn it into a burn pile. Cleaned a bunch of plug wires that had blue/green ends, a rotor and cap that looked the same. Then squared off a set of points that looked like a pair of mountain peaks! All to no avail…..

Subbed in a used Honda cb750 condenser and the little bugger sprang to life and idled perfectly! Installed a new gasket at the exhaust manifold/down pipe union and he should be good for another 50 years. He drove away in a cloud of blue smoke, smiling like the village idiot. My hands will stink for days.

Oddly satisfying.

I did take a few pics of all the toys, here's one :)
