Exhaust and gear vendors, temp hanger. 69 firebird. On both sides you can see my frame connectors going to the rear frame.  I kept the deep sump on the gear vendors even though they said it was mostly for trucks.

Frame connectors. The chassis builder uses flat plate and welds the 2x3" tube to that. I wanted more.

One more, this is the connection to the rear frame. An inch of the connector is above the floor.

I live vicariously through my car buddies, one bought a new previously untitled 2015 Shelby Super Snake that a dealer owner broke on a test drive. It had two rods broken and a damaged block, he bought it for under half of what they are selling for. ($70K) The dealer would have to buy a new engine to repair it and it didn't make $$ sense due to the extreme cost of the Snake parts. My buddy had the aluminum block repaired ( by top fuel type guys) and bought Carillo rods for it since the rods are the weak link. He holds a stock class record right now in a mustang so he has the tools and knowledge to get it put back together. This thing is supposed to run over 200 mph stock and has trans and axle coolers like an endurance car. I'm hoping for a ride when it's warm out.

Not terribly fancy, but will be a strip terror.  Very healthy 373 stroker (nasty actually) shortbed.  Giving it to my son.  I am choosing my projects carefully these days…

Changed the valve cover gaskets on my '02 Tundra, which was more of a pita than it should have been.

Trolling KIJIJI and spotted a scruffy set of original roof racks and cargo cover for the Volvo C30. Racks were straight, “been sitting around for a while”. Wasted a few hours dismantling, cleaning, lubricating and polishing. Maguire’s “Back to Black” brought all the plastic up to better than new! Amazing what a bit of effort can do.

No..... but my old JEEP is nearing the end of it’s natural life. A car with racks is so handy for pipe, lumber etc........

C30 started making a chirping noise that apparently is an indication that the diaphragm is torn on the crankcase ventilation “pot”. Pulling out the dipstick makes it stop. Sure enough, it was. Volvo only sells the complete unit (including the oil filter housing!) for $300 but IPD sells the diaphragm for $18. Ordered a new one and tried to glue together the torn part for a few more days of driving. It failed within a few minutes, but I can now do this cramped job in 1/2 the time! Had to remove several parts just to find the damn thing.

I called IPD and they were great. The “fast ship” was not cheap, but I should have it Wednesday. There is a video on the installation.

Nice tractor 8)

I like the small tractors. I have a 76' Yanmar YM1300 D. I bought it 21 years ago when we got our first house on acreage. It's a 2 cylinder diesel 4 X 4 with 6 forward speeds and 2 reverse. It has a 3 speed PTO forward and reverse. Reverse works great for clearing out the factory bolt on tiller. It also has a 3 point lift and a loader. It has done a whole bunch of stuff that it shouldn't have been able to do.

I wish for loader and backhoe  ;D

Not sure if my Kubota from 80ies would make it long with the extra load but it would be so nice.  Here i am raking weed out of the pond.
