Got the fresh motor back in my neighbour’s snow machine and it fired up 2nd pull. Sync’d the carbs with my old “UNISYN” tool and it runs like a top. Needs new lines on the hand operated fuel primer pump and it’s gone! Good day with a couple of idiotic friends. Wyatt helps us with the race cars, so the scales are back in balance..... Nice.

Had two different shops tell me they couldn't patch this because it's too close the sidewall.  >:(
I need to go to less reputable shops..
Also, yes I need a front end alignment.

I'd patch that with one of those braided raw rubber plug patches and wear that tire the rest of the way out. I've used one on a rear motorcycle tire on a road trip far from home. I forget about it and wore the tire out. I only remembered when the tire guy at the bike shop asked me about it when I bought the next set.

Yeah, plugging it would probably work.

Plugging worked for me quite few times.  Once I upgraded the puncture to slow leak only.  ;D

I’ve used plugs with great success. That one looks like the ideal candidate to me. Ignore the guys trying to sell you a new one. Put it on the back and wear it out!

I bought a "plugger" kit for my bikes when I had 3 punctures in 2 weeks (I'd moved into a new housing estate and there were lots of "tradesmen" dropping screws and nails all over the roads) and it worked fantastic in my Yamaha FJR1300's tyres. Not that sticky string crap that you see everywhere, but actual rubber plugs that are forced into the holes with a special tool, with a knob on the end of the plugs so they can't pull out. I also tipped a bottle of water based "Slime" tyre sealant into each tyre, which pissed off my tyre fitter when I bought new tyres a few months later, but added a little more insurance. I forgot all about the plugs after a few weeks, and on one spirited club ride saw 170 MPH on the speedo, with obviously no issues. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I pulled out the front cable of the emergency brake on the Grand Cherokee.  It was quite a deal with carpet and such.  Hopefully today I will get the new one in and get her inspected.  She was due in October 2022.  ;D

I love my little truck. Today I was scanning FB Marketplace and I saw a nice wood chipper/mulcher for sale not far away for 500 beans, so I contacted the seller, agreed on a time to come over, jumped in the truck and drove to his place via the ATM, and picked it up. I've got a large branch of the big fcuking tree behind my house laying on the roof, so (not tomorrow, it's gonna be 100 degrees) as soon as I can I'm climbing up on the roof with my new 62cc Chinese chainsaw, so I can chop it into smaller pieces, throw them down into the driveway, where I'll mulch their arses.

It was only in the low 80's today, but being Friday the 13th, and considering my ability to hurt myself, I just rolled it off the truck and put it away. ;D

OH NO. With Terry being slightly accident prone what could go wrong here. Let's see, roofs and ladders, chainsaws and wood chippers.  Report back in please if you survive. !!   ;D ;D

Maybe we should arrange for an ambulance to be there on standby until he is done using the chipper and do a finger count as well. 8)

Ha ha, thanks guys, luckily there’s a big shiny new hospital only 3 miles from my place, it’s almost as if they built it with me in mind? And if the worst happens, well I’ve had a pretty good life, all things considered….. ;D

Ha ha, well they fixed me on the public system so told me that couldn't make me look like Paul Newman, but considering that the clutch plate broke my nose and the bones on either side, and punctured my right eye, I'm still pretty happy with the result. ;D

Thanks Dave, all healed up now, but if they're paying well, I suppose I could go out to the garage and clean another rusty clutch plate on my wire wheel? ;D
