I put front shocks on my lowered dually, I noticed a severe lack of travel so I jacked up the torsion bars to level the front fenders with the rear fenders. The old shocks were a bear to get off, I ended up cutting the top stems with a 2 1/2" cut of wheel on an air tool and heated the lower nuts after my old 1/2" air impact had no effect. Anyway, I got it re-shocked and leveled, repaired a broken grease zerk, greased the front end and changed the oil. It has almost full shock travel now.
My insurance company is making noises about having me talk to an adjuster after finding out the snow damaged rear fender/bedside is not available except used for $3K making the repair $5K. I'm wondering if they want to total it which isn't happening.
I got the driveshaft, engine limiters and connected the transmission linkage on the dragster, bought new slicks, put the pit bike and golf car back in the trailer. The tongue jack stuck, I got it working again,
