how do you display images from a host site?
« on: March 06, 2018, 09:31:04 AM »
I'm unable for some reason to do this anywhere so you might not have an answer for me but I thought I'd try.

I use the [img] tag button you have in just about all forums and place the URL in between the code brackets and it never displays. I know you can use the site you're on to host your pics for you but it's much better to link to a pic just with a link rather than having to upload it everywhere you want to display it. And I still see people able to display pics with the IMG tag so I'd like to get this figured out if possible. Any ideas?

Click on the littlte icon so you get the IMG brackets.  Find the image you want and right click in it. Select "copy image location" Come back to the screen here. Put the cursor between the brackets. Right click and select paste and you are done.

Follow my instructions as I wrote them. I went thru the process as I was writing them. There is the Facebook F and the the icon next to it. you get the img img in brackets.  You need to get that cursor between the two brackets before you hit paste.  I do this a lot so I know how it goes. Just try it a again it takes practice.
