You can also do without. Honda thought so.

Put mine in the oil pan drain plug...that's where the oil drops after heating up before returning to the tank. Daytona makes all sorts of bolts that allow it

::)  Honda also thought to do without making the engine 836cc with a big cam and a custom oil tank.  And, had they included a $767 gauge that has a temp reading then they surly would have hooked it up with a $3 connector.  :-X

Thank you for that useful post!  I will try this if my current solution doesn't work out.
Cheers. :)

Just to confirm that the setup I have here (borrowed from paintedseat  ;) ) works perfectly for both; the Honda oil pressure light, as well as the oil Motogadget temperature sender. :)

I have the Motoscope Classic and it worked on T2 after I set up the minimum and maximum temperature. I'm not familiar with that one but I would think it would work as long as it has the input for it.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S.
