I hate people on eBay that blatantly stretch the truth
« on: March 23, 2018, 06:57:57 AM »
Boohoo -  I ordered a tank on eBay mainly because their add had a line that CLEARLY stated the delivery time.  They even offered upgraded shipping to USPS Priority (2-3 day), which I selected and paid for, as I am as patient as a 3 year old.  It took them 4 full days just to drop it off at FedEx.  My delivery is scheduled a full week after the date their add states - even with me paying to upgrade shipping.

If that is the worst news I hear all day, I’ll live.  I just hate people that blatantly LIE on eBay with no consequence.  Boohoo

Did their handling time show 4 days, or same day, 1, 2, 3 day etc.

My favorites are the listings for sandcast luggage racks, crash bars, clearly incorrect oil pans, headlight ear with the bolt hole torn off, the sandcast tool set with no early tools in it, etc.

SUCKER!!!!

How do you expect people to become prosperous if they don't cheat and connive?  Where's the reward for honesty?  You offer any personal bonuses?

No mention of handling time - just delivery date.  There were a couple different vendors to choose from, they tricked me into thinking that I’d have the tank as advertised.  I guess one week later isn’t so bad.  But, Who knows when it shows up

I went back and looked at their original add.  Their handling times and shipping times were included in their delivery date estimate.  States it clearly on the add.
Their customer service is typical of the mega seller.  Generic and does not answer direct questions.   2 emails and they have not addressed my request for my shipping upgrade refund.  FedEx now tells me it will be delivered this Friday.  The fricking tank is now only 40 miles from me as of yesterday (Sunday 25th)  and still won't get here until Friday ???
Only a week late with upgraded shipping.   Hopefully it arrives in one piece.
