How do you separate the rear light ?
« on: March 18, 2018, 03:12:46 AM »
I want to get the backplate of the rear light (CB550) rechromed, but how on earth do you get the bulb holder and reflector off please ??   As far as I can tell, it's one unit (possibly pressed both sides ?) which is impossible to remove without destroying it ?

Thanks all  :)

I know your probably shooting for perfection but you may be surprised how well that will clean up with some dish soap and #0000 steel wool or chrome polish.

It is a pressed fit. Will be hard to separate without damage.
