Broken Screw on Carb Slide
« on: March 21, 2018, 08:25:09 AM »
Had an old screw break off in the slide linkage. Any suggestions on how to get it out?

See attached picture.

Drill it tap it.

Left hand drill bit after soaking with PB Blaster and heat. That’s what I’d do.

Haha wow the same thing just happened to me.

I am using a drill bit and unscrewing to the left,

I am having trouble finding a replacement though. Do you know where I can get one?

Dos, I picked up a set of 4 from Lowe’s. Think it was $1.50 maybe. They’re M4 .70 x 12.

No idea. Can’t say I’ve ever been in a set of 350 carbs.

Good luck!

I was only able to find these locally do you think the circular head will mess things up because I won’t be able to put the clip around it?

I could also just Dremel it into a hexagon head what do you think?
