CB350F wet curb weight?
« on: March 28, 2018, 03:07:55 PM »
Does anyone know the wet curb weight of a CB350F? I know it’s 381lbs dry, but I would assume around 400lbs with oil and gas.

Yeah, I thought so too. The test weight 544lbs with rider (~145lbs rider). Do you think the bike can handle a rider weighing in between 180-200lbs? Is that tolerable for the suspension? I’ve ridden my 350F before and I’ve had my forks bottom out on some rough patches of road, potholes and railroad crossings.

These bikes are well engineered yet quite tiny for a larger and heavier person. So unless your a newer rider you may find it not quite suitable for your stature over the long haul.

If you want to ride still and have a higher body weight of around 200 lbs yourself you could try setting the rear shocks to the stiffer setting. Plus replace the fork oil with 15 or 20 weight to stiffen the front suspension. If your still using the original fork oil or ATF fluid your using around a 10 weight oil presently. You also may also want to check the fluid level in the forks, as it may be low.
