Fuel rich. Entire engine+ carb rebuild
« on: March 31, 2018, 11:23:21 AM »
Hey guys I’m new to god forum. I’m reaching out for help. I got a 1973 Honda cb350 with 5k original miles for free. It has been sitting since 1980. I completely tore down the bike. I completely rebuilt the engine with all new gaskets seals pistons and timing components. I also completely rebuilt the carburetors. Everything was seized from sitting. My bike is smoking a bit and I’m thinking it’s running fuel rich. I’ve adjusted air screws to 1-1/2 turns out. And I replaced the points and condensers it’s still running rich. I pulled the plugs to check for clues and cylinder 1-2-3 is black and cylinder 4 is clean. Please help me figure out something I’ve missed here I have a lot of time and money into this bike and want to see it run perfect again.
