That bike looks the business Rob, well done matey. I wish I could get myself organised to do something similar to the "pile of junk" F1 I have sitting in the shed.

Good luck in the "race". 8)

Hey nick,

Hope all's well with your lovely wife and kids? Yeah, am happy with the bike so far. Pic does not do her justice though. Much better in real life.
Hope you'll get around on building that F1. Now thinking of mounting a set of tickler 31's on her. Together with the F2 engine and webcam should make her cry even more! Tomorrow have the two riders paying me a visit to discuss the demo.
Looking forward in meeting with both of them.

Cheers, Rob

Though it is one of the prettiest sights and for longer, faster, tracks almost a must, we decided not use the CR31's. Mostly due to the nature of the track. Problem is the slow corners, so stick to the PD41's with stacks and 150 mains.

Like I said these CR's are so beautiful, just to look at.

That is sooo coooool!

My RB Racing pipe looks just like that. I just need a bike to put it on. It had/has virtually no ground clearance problem.

Handmade pipe by myself. Copy of the Yoshimura 1971 only my primaries are not that nice curved. But bike runs great on it with the CR31's.
No way this pipe gets grounded, besides crashing..................

Mine was handmade also, pieces of tubing welded together. RB said it was a replica of Honda's Bol dor pipe. It was his prototype, but he decided not to "mass" produce and sold it to me cheap.  Gotta pull it to change the oil, and it doesn't allow for a center stand.

My understanding was he is working on a dry clutch & dry sump set-up(s) for the DOHC CB750.  Like those used on the RSC 1000, and available as kit in the day.  And yes I'm already in line. ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D

I will have to say, everyone needs to get behind me for a SOHC dry clutch.  I've been bugging rob about this as long as we can remember!!   8) 8)

No argument there.  However, the DOHC parts already exist, it's more a question of getting some to copy.  Anyone who has the originals isn't selling, or you need more than 1 first born, plus a unicorn. ;D  My understanding was Rob had a line on some he could borrow during the off season to copy.  I'm not in a rush, but it would make an unique upgrade to my 80 750F, or a killer sidecar engine. ;) :)

I hate dragging up old stuff, but wanting to know what ever happened with these kits? Thinking onto the next frontier for my race bike and this is quite appealing.
