Hello from the other side of the pond.

Simple choice on the 400,  basket case cheap,  hasn't run for 5 years moderate,  totally restored to factory condition $$$$.  Are looking for a stock bike,  cafe, brat or...

Hi, MD

Got one under my sights from the Netherlands.
The price is really good, about 1800usd, needs a paint job, and a bit of TLC.
The main issue I have with it the current owner tells me that the cam chain adjustment screw is broken right of the top.

Trying to assess if its worth the trouble and the risk. At this point, she sounds like she's running ok, not rattling noises, but once I need to adjust the chain, im in trouble.

Not a mechanically inclined person, but eager to get me hands dirty and the 400 really hits a few marks that I'm looking for.

In this case, looking to have it into turned into a cafe racer. But nothing too over the top that would loose the bikes character.

Cheers,
