Rest in peace brother. So glad I was able to see you this Saturday and share old times. We'll meet again one day to share time slips.

He left the tree with a triple zero reaction time and nailed his dial in at stripe. Perfect package as he crossed over.

Yes scottly. Here's a post and pic from respected Pro Street racer Jason Herron.

Feeling emotional this morning after learning that my fellow racer and friend, Keith LeBlanc, has passed away. 2001 was my first year doing any kind of serious racing. That entire race season, Keith owned me. He gave me quite a few old fashioned ass whippings. By the end of the season he was crowned Carolina Dragway's track champion and I was Darlington Dragway's track champion. At the IHRA Bracket Final Race of Champions, we were paired up first round. It was that day I finally got my first win against Keith. We battled it out many times over the next 17 years, but it was that first season he earned my respect. I hope he always knew how much I respected him as a racer and as a person. That's the thing about "racing family." Until you are a part of it, you really don't understand. And today, our racing family lost one of the most sincere, stand up guys you'd ever meet. Rest In Peace Keith.

Just got word from Keith Leblanc's wife that there will be a memorial service in his honor on May 12th at 2pm. The service will be held at Carolina Dragway. If anyone on the forum is  in the area, please make plans to attend. Keith was one of the original participants in the first few races that kicked off the idea for CSRA Dragbike Association. He was instrumental in drafting the rules and race procedures for the group. He also served as our first vice president and helped guide our organization into a professional and well run racing association, "for the racers, by the racers".

If you ever met Keith and had a conversation with him, you'd know he was one of a kind. Very knowledgeable on many subjects, racing related or not. He will be missed.
