CB550 Spoke sizing
« on: April 13, 2018, 03:33:39 AM »
Just a small question....  Are the rear spokes the same size for all CB550's with a 18 inch rim ?  I have a 1978 and all I can find are kits for 1976 and older.

Thanks in advance

I would have to say yes.. I looked at some Google Images of a 1978 and a 1974 CB550K and the hubs look identical. However, I don't own either, so I can't tell you for sure. As long as they are both drum brake models, they should be the same.

I’m getting slightly different part numbers and sizes on hondarestoration , CMS . also different hub part numbers for the different years. It may or may not mean parts are interchangeable.
