Hi from WA
« on: April 22, 2018, 08:51:09 PM »
Hey guys,

I have been signed up here since last summer when I bought my 73 CB750. I just want to say hi and give a big thanks to all the guys that know these old Hondas so well and post all the pro tips. I use the forum regularly and can find about every answer to any question I've had while rebuilding the motor. You guys have covered everything over the years and this place just has it all!

My CB750 was an old rust bucket pos that had been parted out and left for dead. I have the motor rebuilt now and will start on getting the thing on wheels over this summer. Gonna be a long project but whatever, something to do. I also have a 76 CB550 that runs and is pretty much stock to rip around on.

Ive always been a Honda guy and this forum is a place I think Ill stick around with.
Thanks again!

Welcome from TN, I like the 500s/550s they handle very very nicely. Welcome to the forums, it is generally a friendly place, but sometimes we all have bad days...  Learning how to search is a skill that will serve you well. Sometimes though it is nice to ask questions to confirm and get hints or tips not in old threads...

thanks guys! I will have to share some pics along the way, not much to show right now other than a motor sitting on a workbench for the 750. The rear of the frame near the shock mount (left side) has a little damage to it, I've got to figure out what to do back there for now.
