you meet the nicest people on a honda
« on: January 08, 2007, 05:38:07 AM »
yesterday,my girlfriend and myself rode up to richmond with my brother.we were going to a patriot guard riders mission to ride escort for a returning national guard unit returning from iraq.we rode up to the local baseball stadium to meet up with everyone, when lo and behold a guy rides up on a k8(no smart ass comments please eldar ;D).btw,i should probably mention i rode up on my sportster.well my and this guy talked about our hondas for a while.so when it was time to leave,i fired up my bike and blew the rear head gasket(a recuring issue).so everyone goes on the escort mission, while my brother gives my girl a ride home to get her truck.you`ll never guess what happens next.after the shindig for the ng unit, this guy on the 750 comes back to check up on me,i have to tell you i was flabbergasted, not one of them harley guys bother to do such a thing.i gotta say i was truly touched by his generosity, just goes to show you,you meet the nicest people on a honda.

K8 you say. Hmm well come to think of it, mine has never left me stranded! You should have been on your panhead, if it was running. I must say though, we dont have to worry much around here about phelps and his gang of inbreds. To cold for their brand of fire and brimstone.

I think there is a lesson here. A SPORTSTER keeps blowing a head gaskets and strands the rider. A 3 decades old Honda not only makes the run, but is able to return to check on the stranded rider. Dude, if you need to get somewhere and back- take your Honda!!!!.
