PD46A's on a CB750A motor

Anyone know why a fellow could't swap a set of PD46A's onto a CB750A with the same jetting as the PD44A's? A fellow I know is building a 4-wheeler with a CB750A motor, and his PD44's are junk... plus he is missing the idle solenoid. So, we have a set of PD46A's that are in great shape and were going to swap the jets out of the PD44's into the PD46's. I know the PD46's are missing the accelerator pump, and the idle solenoid, but they fit his manifolds.. Thanks,

Appreciate it, FuZZie, but Pat wants to use the PD46A's he has, he gave them back to the guy today, we'll see if they work for him... :D

What carbs are on a 78f?  I recommend those! They woke my anemic matic right the fcuk up!
