Topic: 400/4 tank decals

Hey guys,

My dad's restoring a '77 400/4 right now. He had the tank stripped, cleaned and painted. Now he needs to put the new decals on. He had taken a ton of pictures to reference for this, but they got lost somewhere along the way. Now he's trying to figure out where they need to be.

Does anybody have photos or measurements that could help him?

Here's what I used for mine. On the side covers measure 50mm from the very top of the stepped edge of the cover where the holes are located to mount the cover on the frame tabs. The Honda logo on the tank is 95mm from the bottom of the tank to the bottom of the Super Sport graphic. On the tank centre the HONDA logo with the N centred to the centre of the gas filler hole.
I haven't seen anything for the tank stripes for the 77, so just use some pictures off the internet for appropriate positioning and as longs as they are situated equally on both sides then call it a day.
