Some help with the carbs 750 F0
« on: May 27, 2018, 12:48:10 PM »
Hello everybody.
This sunday I spent a lot of time in my bike for doing nothing but brake this thing.

The surprise came when I was on internet looking for the replacement and I found that the cheapest is this one for 54$ https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CB750-Throttle-Rod-set-p-n-16032-300-004/381469403978?epid=1224102009&hash=item58d1592b4a:g:sooAAOSwIwhWS19g

So I came straight to the forum to find some help as you always give. Any solution, for me it looks like a regular screw.

what can I do? Do I have to pay for the honda spare?

Thank you

It will probably be difficult to find a screw the right length, with the right thread with a head that narrow. You might be able to modify an off the shelf screw.

Curious how you broke that screw? I've had the carbs apart on my F0 a few times now, including removing the tops to make adjustments to the needles and I'm not sure how that would get broken.

Anyways, here's a guy in the U.S. selling a used one:

I was synchronising the carbs and I had the brilliant idea of use the socket set without loose the first nut :)
