First gear hard to engage
« on: May 13, 2018, 08:12:42 PM »
When I first start my newly acquired CB400F first gear is fine but as soon as the engine warms up...that of course means very soon, first gear becomes such a pig to engage I am soon using second to pull away with, which can't do it any good. Your thoughts?

Clutch adjustment
Improper oil
Warped clutch plates
Bent shift forks
