CB350F max tire size?
« on: May 17, 2018, 03:08:38 PM »
Hi, starting to look for a new front tire,  The factory size seems to be a 3.00 18, mine has a 3.25 18 now.  What is the max size you can use with factory fender?

Thanks

How much clearance do you have now? My 550 I had a 110/90-19 (which is I think about 3.5") on it when I got it (on a 2.15" rim, not the original 1.85" rim). Fender size isn't the only factor, rim width matters too. 3.25 is probably already at the limit for the stock rim, 3.50 or 110/90 is probably the max that comfortably fits under the fender.

Why add more weight and have not needed rubber dragging on the turmac, slowing your bike? Have the tyres prescribed in the manual and you'll have the best.

Wider ones on a stock rim will wear out the center sooner. It's just physics.
