You've got a nice collection there Ken, I wish I had somewhere better to "showcase" my 12 or 13 bikes (plus projects) but I'm sick of not having enough room in my garage, and paying $300 per month for a secure storage facility for the ones that I can't jam into my garage, so once I've finished recuperating from surgery, I'm gonna unload 9 or 10 bikes. I can't decide which, but it's gonna happen.
The thing I remember most about my frantic ride on the Kwaka 500 was that as it accelerated, it seemed to twist itself out of shape? I doubt if your R1 does that, once again I've only ridden an R1 once, and I remember it being rock-solid at most speeds. Cheers, Terry.
