1975/78 CB750 - First Project
« on: May 25, 2018, 05:55:57 PM »
I been lurking in the forums for a year or more as I worked on this project that is now almost complete. I should have started this build thread in the beginning. Anyways, I've got sort of a frankenstein bike:

1975 Honda CB750K, with 1978 CB750F engine, instruments off a 1977 K, an F tank (not sure the year), Aluminum rims from an CB750A.

I'll try to post pictures next.

Unfortunately, I made a stupid mistake when tuning everything up. Must have forgotten to lock down the valve adjustment screw. I have not had the engine out of the frame and was planning to do a frame mod anyways. Now, it's taken on some urgency.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis
