Where do I get the following parts
« on: May 28, 2018, 02:59:23 PM »
I need the valve seals.

I need a new head gasket and jug gasket.

I need new rings for the pistons as well

I’ve heard several threads of people getting garbage parts. I need to know a reliable place to get new parts so I can get this thing fixed.

Check out vintagecb750.com

I’ve not had an issue with them.

Try this guy: Joseph Marks -- jtmarks@hvc.rr.com. He sells OEM parts on his eBay store, but if you contact him directly, he will knock off a few extra bucks because he doesn't have to pay fees. Give him part numbers and he'll send a PP invoice. I've bought lots of parts from him and he's the cheapest I've found bar none and he ships fast too.

I have no special relationship or connection to him and do not benefit in any way from recommending him.

I find the Honda part number through CMSNL.com and then copy that part number followed by “Honda” (so: 12345-567-88 Honda) on eBay. A lot of people selling NOS as well as 4into1 and Partzilla sell on eBay. Plus using eBay and PayPal there’s good buyer protection.

I would not use original Honda valve seals. If possible, try to find Viton seals. For the DOHC models, there are several sources.

Check out David Silver who has the biggest SOHC spares in the UK but he does have a US site . Good luck.

Also, there is Yamiya, they have a lot of stuff and I've had good luck with them too.

Complete gasket kit I bought from David Silver (DSS) not good. Low quality gaskets with bad fitting and less o-rings than other gasket kits.
No longer in stock but I found the same kit here: http://www.vintagecb750.com/parts/480/18-0441.jpg
Vintagecb750 has Athena that cost more... maybe better. I have not tried it.

Yamiya complete kit use better gaskets and more o-rings.
David Silver sells Honda gaskets on by one, they are good.

CycleX claim to sell good gaskets. They look good.
