eh i could care less, I've been playing the xbox 360 online and working too much to read this one.....

it slipped by me somehow

a few retorts...

I figured that I'd let it go to 1000 posts and then lock it (and then delete it!)   ;D

That'll bust Richard back down to a Newbie!!

Do it....Do it....Do it.... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Sam. ;)

If thats how you feel steevo go ahead,
as far as i can tell I havent broken any rules or disobeyed any mods so whatever floats your boat...

I have just been on the Humor forum and found our Mr Arse Nip has replied to 21 posts without a break, must be some kind of record. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Now he has his own thread (this one) he hasn't used it :D :D :D :D

Sam ;)

referring to me as "Arse nip" (as if it hasnt been said by Breeze before) is rather stupid and could count as "offensive language" dont make me report you boy  ;)
and yes i replied to 21 in a row because the rest of you saps were all out doing something else or sleeping, dont be mad i have more time on my hands than you  :P

I dont mind jibes, i agree with sparty "A good ole fashion ribbing is quite normal among guys all around the world.  Think about your best buddies... " its cool every once in a while, but anyone would get tired of being the but of the daily joke "Terry should know ;) "

Its all good, I'm slowing down since I'm being pulled into too many directions at once, hopefully i'll get the new bike home soon and spend even more time riding and wernching it  ;D

anyway thanks for all the cmments and concern   ::)  I'll have to check back later

Einyodeler I love that gif, it always cracks me up

To be honest, I ain't so proud that so many of my posts come from that thread -- especially when so many other experts post almost exclusively to the Bike Talk forum.  I ain't no Hot Shot. ;)  On the other hand I do think the Boost thread is a hoot.  I'd be for limiting post counts to the posts that members make to just a few forums (SOHC/4 Bike Talk, etc.), but that might encourage a few members to jack post counts by posting there.

Mebbe the Karma thing works, but I'm not sure we're still using it.  It might work better if we didn't post the counts at all, but that might ignore the high level efforts of some of our super-experts like Honda Man.

That said, I'm not comfortable with my own post count; however, I don't see a better solution.

I think at the end of the day, post-counts do not mean a thing so I wouldnt really worry about it. If you want to post a thousand posts a day then sure go ahead and waste your time and clog up the forum with junk BUT I think everyone knows from reading a few posts who the knoweldgeable posters are. And if you are here to learn and/or contribute your SOHC knowledge then there isnt a better place to be. Post counting is a waste of time.

Saying that I think this thread was a great idea to allow some of our more post-friendly members a chance to write away to their hearts content and I agree with Gordon its been self-inflicted.

cheers
Andy

Post-counts mean little really,

I'm on a Lancia list and post there occasionally,
it rates me a Lite Lancia user....
I drive the Lancia a whole lot more than the vast
majority of Lancia owners so it sould say
I'm a lite Lancia poster :)

I dont have a problem w/rsnip personally. I do get tired of having to look at every other line by rsnip  ( I know, you have a haynes or clymers - U dont have any questions). The posts get filled with one liners that I dont read and are seldom  responded to. I will admit I throw around some useless posts that may or may not be funny, but I don't go through every post and put a response on it. In a nut shell it seems like all topics are rsnip topics. Thats all I have to say about that.
Peace and chicken grease. ;D
