Exhaust question
« on: May 30, 2018, 12:00:58 PM »
My original 1978 4-into-1 exhaust has been painted in flat black heat paint and I want to replace it. Inscription on the original exhaust states that replacement of the original exhaust decreases performance. What do y'all think on that, because that sure isn't my experience on this topic.
Thanks in advance.

What bike? 550F or 750F? If you have a K model 550 or 750 then it didn't come with the 4-1 standard.

That language might be true, some aftermarket exhausts need jetting changes and so just swapping factory for aftermarket can in fact make the bike run worse.

A 750F. Think I'll go aftermarket. Thank you.
