Works shocks cb400F -1"
« on: May 30, 2018, 09:22:56 PM »
I removed a set of Works shocks from the cb400F I cleaned up. I looked them up, they were about $700 new. They are approx. 1" shorter than stock and lightly sprung. I've given some thought to trying them on the 750 framed drag bike project instead of the struts.
Any other thoughts on a good use for them? They're a little short for the gs1000 swingarm on my kz1000. lol.

Make extension blocks and run them on your 750.

I hadn't thought about extension blocks. Lowering blocks turned forward?

if sprung for a 400, bet also the damping is on the light side, sounds like fit for a 500cc bike max.
