I took my K3 750 out for a spin and on the way home I noticed my throttle had developed some pretty serious lost motion, by the time I got home it would barely open, I just made it.
What happened is the screw that tightens the cable bell crank to the shaft on the rack loosened, my fault I think, I didn't check it closely enough.
I removed the tank, took the little bolt out of the bell crank, got a fresh bolt, flattened the end with a file so it had maximum contact, cleaned all the threads and put in some blue lock tight. It's all back together and should work fine. If it ever happens again I'm going to remove the rack and drill a slight depression in the shaft, it's just a flat spot now.
And by the way, I have nice supple 5.5 mm fuel lines and new little wire clips. Those things are a bear to maneuver off and on. I have several c clip pliers and none seem to work well, I always have to struggle with those darn things, I have to come up with a better way!
