Quick question about CB750 SS

So I remember seeing a documentary on Honda and its CB line of bikes and I believe the host mentioned that when the SS model came out it stood for Super Standard not Super Sport however I can't find anything to back that up but find a load of stuff that refers to SS as Super Sport. Anyone know for sure what the SS stands for? I assume its Super Sport but just not sure.

You may also see it listed as K0 Super Sport in some Honda literature
