I would have sold that C5  Corvette and kept all the bikes!
Bob

The car is more fun than all of the bikes, so thats a big no.

Guys that dont own Corvettes will never understand this Dave.
I too, will never sell my Vette [unless I have bought another].

BTW - my buddy just bought a '61... talk about fun to drive! [scary fast fun]

I had a '68 C3 that I loved and would have kept if I had been in a better financial position. I guess I'm just a hardcore biker. Who knows I may try again one of these days?

That '73 is gorgeous, Dave. Love the sidepipes and wire wheels.  And thats a hardtop, right?

Here's another buddies '68, I have it today to repair a gas leak [he left town and was concerned about strong fuel odor in his garage].  We installed a new sending unit and all good now.
BTW - it has a 454 big block in it....

Back to the OP's thread for a moment, the K1 won the popular vote which is no surprise considering the nature of this site, and truly is the best all-rounder by a long shot, but I would have also voted for the Duke. While still fragile compared to Japanese bikes they're getting better with every generation, and all appreciating classics too. I'd still keep both. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Convertibles arent for everybody, I've always loved them.   I'm on my 6th....  [first Corvette though]

Of course, I live in a much different climate than you.
Winter is best time for convertibles down here.

Ha ha, nothing wrong with Corvettes, but have we decided which bikes the OP should keep? I still think the K1 and the Duck. ;D
