Absolutely

I feel like she's the one that emulate a "F*$& You" the best out of all of them.

The Calico is the mother of the Liz and Bubbles, Dib and Gaz are brother and sister, and Skip is the rescue that previous neighbours starved and abandoned.

all of mine but hamish are either rescues, shelter babies or former feral/strays. Hamish was born in my bed, on a kilt so he got a scottish name. bucky i rescued from the seminole county animal shelter in sanford fl, the day he was to be euthanized. rocky was abandoned by his people when they were PCS'd out of country. Macavity and asparagus are both former ferals that i tamed and brought in, theyre the 2 most docile cats i've ever seen. callie i got from a local no-kill shelter last july.

yes bloat flipped his stomach and wrapped around his spleen ,with proper care and help, it would have been noticed before it got to the existent it did there stomach inflates. if they took him right away to the vet he could have been saved .he layed there and went into shock, his body temp dropped, he was cold as ice when we got there i don't know how he had the strength to walk to the car . he also lost 20lbs in 10 days, this didn't happen in one day they lied about his health when we called every day. bloat can happen to any dog but large chested dogs are more prone to it.

happens to grehounds quite a bit too, one of the things that the rescue orginazations warn new owners about.

Sounds very familiar. Except with us it was the local vet that fiddled and farted around, humming and hahhing whilst the dog suffered. Twice the condition receded, but the 3rd time it killed her. Haven't trusted vets since then.

bloat also sounds alot like what happens when a horse colics bad. when i worked at a surgical center for horses, it was the condition i saw more than any other, usually with the first cold snap especially. sad as hell that our critters cant tell us where it hurtsw isnt it?

nah, just the sack the balls came in. those were taken away at 6 months old

my smallest cat, Rocky, is nuts. he jumps into my office chair and howls at me till i spin the chair fast enough to almost throw him out of the chair. if i walk away before he's done, he'll wrap around my ankle and nip me. these guys are just a never ending source of amusement for me.

New dog in the house! A little rescue mutt called Simon. Our other little white dog died on August 10'th and couldn't stand not having a dog in the house any longer.

new picture of rocky (the 8 1/2 year old abysinnian cross) and gus (the 3 1/2 year old, giant formerly feral/wild cat) with them actually behaving themselves. these little peckerheads really make me smile some days. dont know what i'd do without them.
