Say what you will about amazon....but damn that same day Sunday service is awesome.
Woke up this morning to no AC and it was supposed to be nearing 100F.
Pretty quickly realized it was the compressor/fan starting cap that was bad. No parts shops open and I’m flying to Memphis this evening 🤬 and it’s supposed to be hot all week that I’m out of town.
Called around and none of the 24hr HVAC Service shops would sell me the part (which I kind of understand from a liability perspective).
Ordered the part at 11am and paid for same day...part delivered at 6pm and I installed and ran out the door to catch my 8pm flight.
25$ including shipping and delivery on a Sunday....well worth it.
